Tina Knowles has opened up about her granddaughter Blue Ivy’s reaction to her new twin siblings Sir Carter and Rumi, and it sounds like the five year old is loving it.
For some children it can be confusing when new siblings arrive, but it looks like Beyonce’s daughter has coped brilliantly with the arrival of the twins last month.
‘[Blue Ivy] is very proud and excited. She’s a good big sister and cares for them a lot’, said Tina Knowles in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
Speaking of Beyonce and Jay Z’s new arrivals, Tina said: ‘We’re very excited. It’s a wonderful experience.’
However, she refused to shed light on the decision process behind the children’s names, saying we would have to wait to hear their significance.
Earlier this week, Beyonce posted the first photo of the twins – lying in their mother’s arms – on her Instagram account.
However, the mother of three clearly felt it important that Blue felt important too, posting a photo of her and her five-year-old just before the twins were born:
