Calvin Harris and Rita Ora 'end feud as DJ lifts ban on collaborated material'

Calvin Harris and Rita Ora have reportedly buried the hatchet after he lifted the ban preventing her from performing their collaborated material.

The Scottish DJ teamed up with then-girlfriend Rita on hit single I Will Never Let You Down, but following their breakup in 2014 she was not allowed to play it live, or release any of their tracks on her own album.

Now, it seems the feud could be over with the pair clearing the air – and while they’re not BFFs all of a sudden, the ban has been lifted.

“Late last year they got in touch and sorted things out,” a source told The Sun on Sunday . “It was such a relief to both of them that they could move on and put things behind them.

“At the end of the day they had a lot of good times together and it was sad that was tainted by how bitter the split was at times.

“But things are really good now although they are not so close they’re heading out to dinner anytime soon or anything.”

The ceasefire means not only will Rita be able to work with some of Calvin’s close friends in the industry, but I Will Never Let You Down can be part of her live repertoire.

Calvin dumped her via Twitter without warning her beforehand but, despite the humiliation she felt at the time, she has admitted there are no hard feelings between them .

Speaking on Watch What Happens Live on Thursday, Rita said when pressed on her relationship with Calvin: “We’re good friends.

“Everybody uses social media how they want. I choose not to, so that’s just my personal way to express myself, but everybody does their own thing.”
