Chelsea have sent a scout to watch three Monaco players in their Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday evening, according to reports in France.

RMC Sport claim that the Premier League leaders are monitoring the progress of Tiemoue Bakayoko, Benjamin Mendy and Thomas Lemar, who have all been named in the starting line-up for the fixture at the Stade Louis II.

Bakayoko has impressed in central midfield this season, while reports last month claimed that Chelsea have submitted a £32 million offer for the 22-year-old.

Mendy, meanwhile, is on the radar of several Premier League title-chasers, including Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United and City.
