Craig Shakespeare named Leicester City manager until the end of the season

Craig Shakespeare has been announced as Leicester City’s permanent manager until the end of the season.

“Leicester City Football Club is pleased to confirm Craig Shakespeare as its First Team Manager for the rest of the 2016/17 season,” a short message posted to the club’s official Twitter account read.

Shakespeare was named interim boss of the Premier League champions last month, following the sacking of Claudio Ranieri.

He has made a superb start to his tenure, winning his first two Premier League matches, against Liverpool and Hull City, since the Italian’s dismissal.
