Cynthia Calvillo was a no-show at the UFC Glasgow press conference as the fighter was taken to hospital after her victory.
The win came over Scottish star Joanne Calderwood who was also not in attendance for the post-fight presser.
Defeated fighters are not expected to attend press conferences and Calderwood was visibly upset with the result.
The judges gave Calvillo an unanimous decision over Calderwood to condemn her to her second defeat in a row.
Calvillo and Calderwood clashed in the cage after the final bell, just before the result was announced.
The SEE Hydro crowd were furious to see Calvillo get into it with their local hero and were further enraged to hear her name read out as the winner.
Calvillo’s team were almost involved in a messy affair with a fan when coach Justin Buchholz had to be dragged away from confronting an angry Scottish supporter.

The win puts Calvillo in contention for a title shot or a fight with a top contender as she collected her sixth win in a row.
The 30-year-old remains undefeated in the pro game while Calderwood will have to do some serious thinking.
Calderwood missed weight for the clash and said before the fight she wanted to compete in the UFC’s new flyweight division.
Calvillo’s injury does not seem to be serious as she was spotted after the fight enjoying herself with some cake.
