Ousmane Dembele remains suspended by Borussia Dortmund for the near future, the club has confirmed.
Dortumund released a fresh statement on Sunday after initially punishing Dembele for failing to turn up to training last week.
Dembele wants to move to Barcelona who have yet to meet Dortmund’s asking price for the attacker.
Barcelona are desperate to add to their squad after Neymar made a shock move to Paris Saint-Germain.

Dortmund boss Peter Bosz confirmed on Saturday that he would sit down with Dembele later that day and clear the air with the 20-year-old.
But, those talks seem to have made little difference to Dembele’s position as Dortmund revealed he was suspended ‘until further notice.’
The original ban was set to expire on Monday, but it now seems Dembele will continue to be barred from re-joining the first-team.
Dembele’s approach to forcing a move has been heavily criticised by fans and pundits.
The attacker has spent just one season at Dortmund, but confirmed his status as one of the most exciting prospects in the world with ten goals and 21 assists in his debut campaign.
Dortmund kick off their Bundesliga season on Saturday against Wolfsburg and Dortmund director of football Michael Zorc confirmed Dembele would continue to train alone.
He said: ‘Our focus now is on preparation for the Bundesliga opening match in Wolfsburg.
‘Dembele, of course, has the opportunity to complete an individual training session outside the group.’
