Jose Mourinho reveals what the hardest part of being Manchester United manager is

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has revealed that meeting expectations is the hardest part of the job at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils boss arrived at the club this summer and has already lifted his first trophy, after seeing his side beat Southampton in the EFL Cup final last month.

In doing so he became the first United manager to win a trophy in his first season with the club, but has been unable to get the club out of sixth place in the Premier League in recent weeks, despite a lengthy unbeaten run.

And in an interview with the BBC’s Gary Lineker ahead of tonight’s FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea , the Portuguese has lifted the lid on that challenge of meeting expectations at the storied club.
