Man accused of letting bulldogs attack people in front of up to 50 children yells to family in court

A dog owner accused of allowing his bulldogs to attack terrified members of the public in a park shouted to his family and friends as he was led from court to his cell today.

‘Dog lover’ Daniel Hennessy, 38, was remanded in custody after the hearing today after his five rare American bulldogs allegedly bit a man and woman while up to 50 children watched in horror.

The dogs – two of which are believed to have been shot by armed police on Sunday, with one still on the loose – were outside the Queen’s Park Pavilion cafe
