Millwall fans racially abuse Tottenham hat-trick hero Son Heung-Min during FA Cup defeat at White Hart Lane

Millwall fans appeared to racially abuse Tottenham forward Son Heung-Min during their side’s FA Cup defeat at White Hart Lane.

Chants of “DVD” and “three for a fiver”, apparently in reference to the sale of pirated films, coursed through the away end each time Son touched the ball in the last-eight clash.

But the 24-year-old South Korea international silenced the visiting support by scoring a hat-trick as Spurs ran out 6-0 winners to progress to the semi-finals.

Earlier, police had to intervene as fans of both sides clashed before kick-off.

Officers were posted across north London with some in riot gear and others on horse back.

Smoke bombs were left off outside the ground while inside, signs were removed from the away end in a bid to minimise damage.

Last season, Arsenals fans tore them down after being kept behind after a victory over their bitter rivals.
