Standing on a stool, little Wang Anna concentrates as she cooks vegetables for her beloved gran and great-gran.
Despite being only five, the youngster spends her days making meals, cleaning and caring for her two elderly relatives.
She started looking after the frail pair at a remote house in China after her mum remarried and allegedly abandoned her.
Her dad had been imprisoned when she was a baby , so when her mother wed again, she was left alone with her gran and great-gran.
Now, she reportedly wakes up early every morning to prepare meals for her relatives in their house in a mountainous village in Zhima town, Zunyi city.
She visits their neighbour’s farm to pick fresh vegetables, which she then cooks on a stove that she can barely reach with her small arms.
In heartbreaking pictures, she can be seen feeding her gran and great-gran with chopsticks, washing them and cleaning their home.
She also helps them to go to the bathroom on a daily basis.
Both of the elderly women are nearly bedridden at the property in southwest China’s Guizhou province, MailOnline reports.
Wang Anna’s grandmother has severe arthritis while her great-gran is 92 years old, according to a reporter who visited the family.
Despite her age, the little girl apparently does not complain as she cares for her relatives. It is not clear whether she has support from elsewhere.
Wang Anna’s dad was imprisoned for unspecified reasons when she was just three months old, it is reported. Her mum later remarried.
