Pippa Middleton plans to avoid being overshadowed on her wedding day by trying to stop Prince Harry’s glamorous girlfriend Meghan Markle from attending.
Pippa , who is due to marry boyfriend James Matthews in May, is rumoured to have told friends she’ll be enforcing a policy of only allowing guests a plus one if they are married or engaged to their partner, the infamous ‘no ring, no bring’ rule, – and of course, Meghan and Harry are neither.
Last week, when Meghan and Harry attended a friend’s wedding in Jamaica , the couple attracted a lot of attention.
They were pictured holding hands and looking affectionate at the wedding of pals Tom ‘Skippy’ Inskip and Lara Hughes-Young.
“She saw how all eyes were on Meghan rather than Lara,” a friend tells The Mail On Sunday . “The situation was also stressful for Harry. Pippa and her mother Carole wonder whether Meghan’s presence could cause a great deal of unnecessary chaos.”
Pippa and James’ wedding is due to take place in a private church in Berkshire, followed by a reception at the Middleton’s home nearby.
Following Harry and Meghan’s outing to their friends’ wedding in Jamaica, a source said: “This the first time that she and Harry have socialised so openly as a couple and is a significant step up in their relationship.”
STUNNING hotel Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stayed in
“Make no mistake, he is heads over heels about her. This one could go all the way.”
Harry and Meghan have been spending increasing amounts of time together in recent months.
Just last month it was reported the royal introduced Meghan to two of his most important relatives.
Harry took her to stay with brother Prince William and wife Kate and meet their children , three-year-old George and little sister Charlotte, at the family home at Anmer Hall in Norfolk.
According to US reports, Harry is even thinking about proposing – and if he does it sooner rather than later, the couple will be a shoo-in for Pippa’s wedding.
“They will be engaged by the end of summer,” an insider told Us Weekly, adding that the pair “have spoken candidly about their future. They see a life together.”
