Online food shopping deals: £18 off at Sainsbury's, £40 off at Waitrose – plus more ways to save on your groceries this week

The supermarket price war is on, and the UK’s biggest grocery stores are battling it out to offer consumers the best value for their money, and the cheapest price on staple foods and top brands.

But with recent research showing supermarkets like the big four – Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons – are tricking us out of millions with ‘offers’ and general grocery prices are on the up.

According data from Kantar World Panel groceries price inflation has jumped to 1.4% over the last 12 weeks. So there’s no better time to start saving on your weekly shop.

1. £18 off £60 food order at Sainsbury’s

If you’ve got a large family and regularly shop at Sainsbury’s in store, it may be worth opting for online delivery next time you shop.

New customers can currently get £18 off their first order over £60 with this voucher code – click here to redeem until 4 April 2017.

2. £6.30 off and half price delivery pass at Asda

We’ve teamed up with TopCashback to bag you an extra £6.30 off your Asda food shop this week when you spend £25 or more online.

To earn your cashback, sign in or register to TopCashback here (it’s free to join), click through to Asda and start your shop.

A total of up to £6.30 will then be refunded to your TopCashback account within two weeks of your purchase.

3. £40 off £80 grocery spend at Waitrose

New online shoppers at Waitrose can enjoy £20 off their first two food orders between £80-100 until midnight 31 March – so effectively, you’ll get £80 worth of food for £60.

To unlock this deal, you’ll have to use the code AQ1FD20 at the Waitrose online checkout, or NQ1FD20 on your second shop (min spend £100).

Shop through TopCashback, and new members will also get an additional £8 off when you spend £100 or £2 off for existing customers.

4. £5 off first orders over £80 at Morrisons

Online shoppers at Morrisons can currently enjoy £5 off when you spend £80 or more online until 17 April 2017.

To redeem the discount, you’ll have to enter the voucher code VOU7198206 at the Morrisons online checkout page online.

9. Free one month home delivery pass at Tesco

If you’re new to the world of online shopping, Tesco is offering you the chance to trial out its home service for with free with a Delivery Saver 30-day free trial.

Included in the plan is free deliveries seven days a week across Tesco groceries, Tesco direct, F&F clothing and Wine by the case for one-month.

10. £15 off you shop at ASDA, Tesco, Morrisons and Iceland

If you’re new to online food shopping, and sign up to Quidco as a new member, you can wangle £15 off your food shop when you spend £25 or more at ASDA, Tesco, Morrisons or Iceland.

The deal is on until March 31, and £15 will be credited to your member’s account by April 9 which you can transfer to your bank account within 30 days. Just follow the steps below to claim:
