Roger Federer will not face a seed until the quarter-finals of the Australian Open following the exit of Sam Querrey on Day 4.

The 19-time Grand Slam champion faced the prospect of meeting either the American or former world No. 3 Milos Raonic in the last-16, but both have fallen in the opening two rounds.
