Ryan Harrison let the pressure get the better of him as he crashed out of Indian Wells to Damir Dzumhur on Friday night.
The 24-year-old fell to a 6-4, 3-6, 7-5 loss against the Bosnian on the stadium court and took his frustration out on his tools on day four of the BNP Paribas Open.
The American’s rampage began when he sent a volleyed shot wide.
He reacted by stamping on a spare racket, which was propped up against a chair, and broke it in half under the impact.
Harrison then saw his final shot of the game hit the net, and he reacted by throwing his racket at the ground in a fit of rage.
The racket broke instantly as the American caught his breath and walked over to his opponent to congratulate him on his victory. But he wasn’t done there.
After shaking the umpires hand he walked over to his kit bag and removed two more rackets, throwing them both at he ground.
Both were filmed buckling upon impact as members of the crowd watched on in shock.
