Stomach-churning footage shows 30ft waves submerge a cruise ship window during a hurricane force storm.
The choppy water batters the ship in the seasick-inducing video as the howling 120mph winds take hold.
One wave is so big that it takes several seconds for the ship to resurface out of the water.
And although it’s like something out of the Titantic, the man filmed in the camera phone video fairly calmly regards the scene – and even nervously giggle.
However the cameraman is less levelheaded – shrieking “That is terrifying” when the window is submerged by water.
One of the lads then admits: “We’re staying in one place hoping not to die”.
The footage also shows one of the men struggling to keep his balance as he walks down a corridor.
The video – which has been viewed over 10,000 times on YouTube – was taken from a cabin on the third deck of the Anthem Of The Seas cruise ship.
Just moments before it was filmed the captain had told passengers to stay in their rooms and told them that the ship was at a standstill to try and ride out the storm.
The Royal Caribbean cruise – which was carrying around 4,500 guests and 1,600 crew – was heading to Port Canaveral in Florida but was forced to turn back and return to New Jersey due to the rough weather.
Part of the ceiling on one deck partially collapsed on in the storm while furniture and plant pots were also smashed.
The footage was taken in February 2016 but has recently surfaced on social media site Reddit.
