Arsene Wenger insists Arsenal were "fantastic" against Bayern Munich and gives insight on dressing room mood

Arsene Wenger insisted his Arsenal players have picked themselves up after their 10-2 aggregate defeat to Bayern Munich.

The Gunners boss also praised his side for a “fantastic” first half performance at the Emirates and claimed Arsenal were “very good” in the second leg clash.

Arsenal, who were trailing 5-1 from the away leg of the last-16 tie, took the lead through Theo Walcott on Tuesday night.

But things quickly went downhill when Laurent Koscielny was shown a straight red card for a foul on Robert Lewandowski in the Gunners’ area.
